There is something special with fire. To let ones thoughts wander whilst looking into the climbing flames of a campfire awakes a sense of prehistoric peacefulness – at best in the middle of a dark forest or on a beach on a desolate coast. The smoldering embers offers shapes that flicker and disappear in an instant. I sometimes manage to capture them.
